About AHBA

• Why Choose the Australian Hair & Beauty Academy?

Where craft, confidence and career meet

AHBA was founded on a simple idea: the best beauty training happens inside a working salon, taught by people who still work on the floor. Beginning September 2026, AHBA opens its doors as a brand-new RTO delivering nationally recognised qualifications under the Standards for RTOs 2025.

With small cohorts, individual attention, and direct industry mentoring across the Gold Coast's most respected working salons, AHBA students start treating real clients from their very first units.

AHBA is a sole-trader RTO led by Stacey Terese Ngaro (ABN 97 768 349 942), with primary delivery from the Genuine Love Building (Currumbin Waters) including Salon First and Gecko Hall · Vika.

Meet Our Founder

Meet our CEO — Stacey Terese Ngaro

"From the moment I opened my first salon, I knew teaching was as much my craft as styling. AHBA is the academy I always wished existed — small, focused, salon-based, and led by people who still pick up the scissors every day."

Stacey is a qualified hairdresser, beauty therapist and TAE-qualified trainer with two decades of experience running and staffing working salons. She launched AHBA to give the next generation of Australian stylists, therapists and salon owners the kind of grounded, real-client training she built her own career on.
